Lead Capital Projects That Power the Future
Step into a role where you’ll steer complex capital construction initiatives across renewables and infrastructure. Based in Juno Beach, FL, you’ll report directly to the Site Manager and keep multiple workstreams aligned on cost, schedule, quality, and safety from early development through pre‑construction. This is a 1‑year, office‑based contract with travel up to 25%.
A Day in the Role
Picture your day starting with a readiness check across contractors and vendors, followed by site walk‑downs to verify constructability and ensure work meets engineering and design standards. You’ll review payment applications against completed scope, track performance against the plan, and drive mitigation strategies where risks emerge. By afternoon, you’re coordinating with landowners, regulators, and local officials to secure project readiness and leading cross‑functional pre‑construction huddles to keep development, engineering, permitting, and construction in lockstep.
What You’ll Own
- Oversight of contractor and vendor performance across productivity, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Job walk‑downs and constructability reviews to confirm compliance with engineering/design requirements.
- Validation of contractor invoices against scope and measurable progress.
- Scope control, budget stewardship, and disciplined performance reporting.

- Pre‑construction leadership spanning development, engineering, permitting, and construction teams.
- Procurement and quality management for survey contractors and their deliverables.
- Championing safety, quality, and procedural compliance across all activities.
- Close partnership with safety, engineering, construction, budgeting, analytics, and contract administration teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or related field (required).
- PMP certification.
- 6–10 years of project execution experience, including contractor/vendor coordination.
- Background in construction or renewables.
