Paint Finishing Department Manager

If you thrive on coaching teams, driving quality, and solving production problems in real time, this role is for you. Cutting Dynamics, LLC—part of Re:Build Manufacturing—seeks a 2nd Shift leader in Avon, OH to guide our paint finishing operation to new levels of performance.

Your mission

  1. Stabilize and optimize paint line operations, ensuring safe, efficient flow every shift.
  2. Implement and coordinate quality control measures that meet rigorous aerospace requirements.
  3. Inspire, supervise, and develop your team to deliver outstanding results.
  4. Embed health and safety strategies into daily routines and audits.
  5. Diagnose production challenges and make confident, data‑informed decisions.
  6. Model precise paint application techniques and verify results against spec.
  7. Ensure all equipment used in the paint process is operated safely and effectively.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of industrial painting experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Internal applicants must have 1 year of experience at Re:Build CDI in the paint department.

Shift details

2nd Shift position: 5‑day work week, 8‑hour shifts, 2:00–10:30 PM. Location: Avon, Ohio.
