Class A Dedicated Local Driver

Beast Mode Truckin seeks experienced Class A drivers and recent graduates for a dedicated local account operating 53' refrigerated trailers. This role offers predictable daily home time, competitive pay, and modern equipment on a primarily no-touch grocery account.

• Compensation & benefits
  • Average weekly pay: $1500 - $1700
  • Pay per mile: $0.69–$0.81 (dependent on experience)
  • Trainee pay: $680 per week for drivers with under 6 months’ experience
  • Stop pay: $10 for first stop, $15 for each additional stop
  • Short-haul pay: $25 for loads under 50 miles
  • Full benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off

  • Equipment: 53' refrigerated trailers; modern, automatic tractors
  • Freight: Predominantly no-touch freight (drop-and-hook) with occasional live store load/unloads
  • Account: Solid dedicated grocery account
  • Mileage: Average ~1,800 miles per week
  • Home time: Daily home time; slip-seat trucks
  • Training: 4–6 week mentor/OTR training ride for drivers with less than 6 months’ experience
• Schedule
  • 7-day operation; weekends not guaranteed off
  • Typical workweek: 5–6 days
  • Drivers must be willing to work day or night shifts
• Minimum qualifications
  • Age 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
  • Graduate of an accredited truck driving school (minimum 120 hours)
  • Reasonably clean driving record: no major accidents, major violations, or suspensions within the past 5 years; no DUI convictions within the past 5 years
  • Not terminated from most recent employment for safety-related reasons
  • Generally stable 10-year work history; acceptable exceptions for schooling or training. Minimum recent employment: 6 months in the last year or 1 year in the last 3 years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screens
  • Residency: within 40 miles of Johnstown, NY or Syracuse, NY
  • Criminal offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
