No Experience CDL A Commercial Driver Regional

About the role: Begin your driving career with a position designed for newly licensed CDL A holders in the Virginia Beach, VA area. 365 Freight USA is hiring recent graduates and new CDL A drivers for a paid 4–6 week mentor training program. During the program you will ride and work alongside an experienced driver, learn the day-to-day flow of professional trucking, and then transition into solo driving. After training, drivers can earn $1,600–$1,800 weekly with full benefits.

What we offer:

  • Paid training throughout the 4–6 week mentor period.
  • Weekly earnings of $1,600–$1,800 after training.
  • Direct deposit for weekly pay.
  • Full benefits available after training.
  • A practical, on-the-road pathway for recent CDL A graduates to move from classroom instruction to real-world driving in and around the Hampton Roads / Virginia Beach area and beyond.
  • Structured mentorship providing hands-on guidance before assuming solo driving responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Complete a paid 4–6 week mentor training period that includes learning daily driving routines, working with an experienced driver, and preparing to transition to solo operations.
  • Drive with your mentor while assisting with pickups and deliveries and learning to manage loads safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safe driving practices, complete required vehicle and cargo checks, and develop professional habits for over-the-road operations.
  • Gain hands-on experience with trip flow, communication, and decision-making as you progress from a recent graduate to an independent driver.

What we’re looking for:

  • Safety-first mindset: Adhere to DOT requirements, company procedures, and safe driving practices at all times.
  • Reliability: Arrive ready to work, maintain schedules, and handle responsibilities consistently during training and once driving solo.
  • Coachability: Be receptive to feedback from your mentor and willing to learn through real-time instruction on the road.
  • Strong communication: Maintain regular contact with your mentor and dispatch, ask questions when needed, and communicate clearly and professionally.
