Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MIG welding processes and a strong understanding of metal fabrication. Candidates with TIG welding experience are highly preferred and will be given additional consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals according to specifications and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with fabrication, fitting, and assembly as needed
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with TIG welding processes
- Ability to work with different materials such as stainless steel and aluminum
- Familiarity with additional fabrication tools and machinery
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MIG welder (or similar role)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
