  1. Kick off with Supervisor Safety Meetings; reinforce SOPs and Process Control Tables across shifts.
  2. Prioritize work with First-Line Leaders and confirm material readiness with Procurement and equipment readiness with Maintenance.
  3. Track output vs. plan; adjust schedules in real time for equipment downtime, staffing changes, or material constraints.
  4. Review production, quality, and maintenance reports; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  5. Partner with Engineering to trial equipment or control-system improvements that elevate throughput, safety, and quality.
  6. Coach team members, deliver performance appraisals, and advance the departmental training program.
  7. Report on cost center budgets and progress to targets aligned with the business plan.
  8. Capture and store operational data to fuel continuous improvement.
