Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Electrician to support equipment reliability and overall plant operations. This individual will play a key role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while working closely with manufacturing teams to keep operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
- Support production by responding quickly to equipment downtime
- Assist with machine setups and help improve efficiency and uptime
- Complete routine preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, downtime, and completed tasks
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices
- Collaborate with production teams to support daily operational goals
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean activities
- Assist with additional facility or environmental responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with industrial equipment such as presses, CNC machines, conveyors, or automated systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (motors, controls, wiring)
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Welding experience (MIG, arc, or torch cutting) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards or quality systems is a plus
