Your mission

Lead the creation and maturation of quality control systems for sophisticated programs. Use metrology and statistical rigor to prevent defects, optimize inspections, and align people, processes, and data. Audit decisively, communicate clearly, and help everyone—from the line to the C-suite—see quality the same way.

Impact areas

  • Reduce process and product nonconformances through cross-functional collaboration, analytics, and transparent reporting.
  • Drive APQP deliverables: control/inspection plans, PPAP, FAIR, and comprehensive FMEA/PFMEA.
  • Own continuous improvement: chair MRB and implement durable RCCA.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing to validate quality requirements and resolve problems at speed.
  • Advance quality initiatives and team capability; mentor and train colleagues.
  • Execute wide-ranging audits: internal documents, parts, processes, products, suppliers, and customers.

Profile we’re seeking

  • ASQ CQE or two-year engineering-related degree with 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience (or equivalent).
  • Exposure to battery production, machining, or electronic assembly/harnessing is beneficial.
  • High ethical standards; skilled in facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership.
  • Analytical thinker who interprets data, surfaces trends, and guides decisions that elevate performance.
  • Compelling communicator with the polish to deliver executive-grade reports and presentations.
  • Comfort with ERP/MRP (Infor Syteline, SAP) and expert-level CAD/CAE or similar data-dense tools.
  • Strong Microsoft toolkit: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel 10%–25%.
