About the Role
A fast-growing, angel-backed AI SaaS company headquartered in Vienna is looking for a Head of Sales to own and scale its sales organisation. You will be the driving force behind reaching an ambitious ARR milestone, building repeatable processes, and expanding a high-performing team — initially focused on the DACH region with a clear path to leading a global sales function.
This is a critical, on-site leadership role for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own the entire sales organisation and drive revenue growth toward a €10M ARR target by mid-2026.
- Hire, onboard, and develop inbound and outbound SDRs and Account Executives to scale GTM capacity.
- Manage and coach the existing AE team to improve conversion rates and overall productivity.
- Build and document repeatable sales playbooks and scalable processes for the full team.
- Lead pipeline management and deliver reliable, data-driven revenue forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to maximise conversion of performance-marketing inbound leads.
- Own the expansion of sales operations into new markets while prioritising DACH.
- Start as Head of Sales DACH with the potential to evolve into a global Head of Sales role.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Native-level German proficiency (Deutsch als Muttersprache) — this is a dealbreaker requirement.
- 2+ years leading a SaaS sales team with hands-on, quota-bearing experience in a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record hiring and scaling SDR and AE teams.
- Demonstrated ability to create sales playbooks, manage pipeline, and deliver accurate forecasts.
- Strong experience collaborating with marketing to align on strategy and drive pipeline.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vienna (relocation package available).
- Ownership mentality and collaborative approach.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data-driven forecasting and CRM tooling.
- Experience expanding sales into international markets beyond DACH.
- Experience building both inbound and outbound SDR programmes.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually (or local equivalent)
- Relocation package available for candidates moving to Vienna
- Opportunity to grow into a global Head of Sales position
