We are seeking an experienced Sigma Reporting Lead to drive the design, development, and governance of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions on Sigma Computing. This is a high-impact contract engagement — fully remote across the US — where you will own the reporting layer end-to-end and serve as the go-to Sigma expert for business and data teams alike.

You bring deep hands-on Sigma expertise paired with strong data modeling instincts, stakeholder communication skills, and a bias for building reporting systems that are both beautiful and trusted by the business.

Lead Sigma Development

Architect and build complex Sigma workbooks, dashboards, and data applications for executive and operational audiences.

Reporting Architecture

Define standards for data modeling, semantic layer design, and reporting governance across the organization.

Stakeholder Partnership

Translate complex business requirements into intuitive reporting products; manage and prioritize a reporting backlog.

Cloud Data Integration

Work hands-on with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks to optimize query performance and data freshness for reporting.

Data Quality & Governance

Implement row-level security, dataset tagging, access controls, and data validation pipelines within Sigma.

Enablement & Best Practices

Mentor analysts, create internal documentation, and champion Sigma adoption across business units.

Requirements

• 8+ years in BI, data analytics, or reporting engineering roles
• 3+ years of deep, hands-on Sigma Computing experience
• Expert-level SQL with strong query optimization skills
• Experience with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
• Strong grasp of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and semantic layers
• Proven ability to build self-serve analytics products for non-technical users
• Experience with row-level security and data access governance in Sigma
• Ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools (dbt, Fivetran, Airflow) a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership

• Experience with other BI tools: Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Thoughtspot
• Python or R for data transformation and exploratory analysis
• Background in Finance, SaaS Operations, or Supply Chain reporting
• Sigma Certified Professional credential
• Experience embedding Sigma into internal product portals
