What You’ll Do

• Precision Turning & Milling: Produce tight-tolerance parts on CNC turning centers and milling centers in accordance with work orders, routers, and blueprints.
• Setup & Calibration: Configure conventional and close-tolerance equipment by interpreting drawings, manuals, and programming instructions.
• Quality Verification: Conduct thorough in-process checks and validate critical dimensions using precision metrology.
• Documentation: Accurately record activities through forms, reports, and production logs.
• Continuous Improvement: Depending on experience, contribute to troubleshooting, training fellow operators, coordinating workflow, or taking on team leadership tasks.

What You Bring

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical Depth: Solid command of CNC controls, cutting tools, and blueprint reading
• Metrology: Comfortable with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and edge finders
• Craftsmanship: Skilled in deburring and careful part handling to precise customer specs
• Mindset: Organized, safety-conscious, quality-obsessed, and effective working independently in a fast-paced setting
