DELIVERY DRIVER – MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES

Location: Marietta, GA

We are seeking dependable, professional Delivery Drivers for multiple opportunities in Marietta. These positions involve safely delivering products, loading and unloading materials, providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate paperwork, and supporting daily operations as needed.

Drivers may be responsible for delivering fresh floral arrangements, plants, gift items, event décor, and plant materials to residential, business, and event locations.

Available Opportunities

Floral Delivery Driver — $18.00/hour

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

Plant / Operations Delivery Driver — $20.00/hour

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Must arrive by 6:50 AM

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, unload, and deliver products and materials.

  • Deliver floral arrangements, plants, gift items, event décor, and plant materials to customers and job locations.

  • Handle products with care to maintain quality during delivery.

  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently and accurately.

  • Navigate to delivery locations using a map or other device.

  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, dispatch, and other team members.

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

  • Collect signatures, complete delivery confirmations, and maintain accurate paperwork.

  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and complete before leaving for delivery and submitted to the required parties upon return.

  • Load sales orders onto trucks for delivery or pickup.

  • Receive, unload, count, position, and maintain plant materials and associated products.

  • Assist with loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Select and stage orders as directed by management and sales staff.

  • Assist with in-store, warehouse, yard, nursery, and other operational duties as needed.

  • Perform plant care and nursery upkeep, including spacing, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and watering as required.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.

  • Safely operate and maintain company-owned, leased, and rented vehicles and equipment.

  • Perform required pre- and post-operation vehicle maintenance and complete required reports.

  • Maintain required driver inspections and paperwork in accordance with DOT requirements.

  • Use radio communication professionally with other employees.

  • Follow safe work practices and behaviors at all times.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Driver Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Current DOT Medical/Health Card.

  • Clean background and driving record.

  • At least one year of safe driving experience.

  • Previous experience driving a 26' straight truck is required for the Plant / Operations Delivery Driver position.

  • At least one year of delivery truck or van driving experience for the Floral Delivery Driver position.

  • Ability to navigate using a map or other device.

  • Working Android or iPhone required for the Floral Delivery Driver position to utilize delivery run logs, mapping, and routing apps.

  • Strong communication skills and clear understanding when speaking.

  • Fluent English.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist wherever needed operationally.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. for the Floral Delivery Driver position.

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly for the Plant / Operations Delivery Driver position.

  • Prolonged walking and standing.

  • Ability to work in heat and cold and severe weather conditions.

  • Ability to work early mornings, after business hours, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons as required.

Vehicle & Safety Requirements

For the Floral Delivery Driver position:

  • Drive Ford Transit Vans wrapped in pink and green.

  • Vans are equipped with interior and exterior camera systems.

  • GPS and lane-keeping software are built in and report back to Dispatch automatically.

  • Must maintain a driving score of 80 out of 100 to remain in the position.

  • Tennis shoes, jeans, and company shirt required.

For the Plant / Operations Delivery Driver position:

  • Maintain required driver inspections and necessary documentation in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

  • Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements for hours of service, including driver hours, duty hours, and rest requirements.

  • Operate skid steer and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) under OSHA certification as required.
