CDL A Regional Driver Trainee

Location: Savannah, GA — 365 Freight USA is hiring recent CDL-A graduates and newly licensed drivers for a paid 4- to 6-week mentor program that leads to solo regional driving based out of Savannah.

Overview

• Paid 4- to 6-week mentor training with an experienced driver.
• Weekly pay by direct deposit; $1,600 to $1,800 per week after successful completion of training.
• Regional routes structured to keep drivers closer to home, with regular runs serving the Eastern United States and connections into adjacent regions.
• Modern equipment, including brand-new Volvo VNL tractors.
• Drop-and-hook dry van freight to provide more predictable loading and unloading.

Route and Training Details

• Begin with a paid mentor program focused on safe, professional driving skills and hands-on road training.
• Transition into solo regional assignments after successful completion of training.
• Operate dry van freight on regional routes serving the Eastern U.S., with schedules designed to maximize home time for Savannah-based drivers.
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with mentors, dispatch, and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Graduate of an accredited CDL school.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Able to meet DOT physical requirements and complete required pre-employment screenings.
• Safety-first mindset, reliability, coachability, and professional communication.
• No prior over-the-road experience required.
