About the role

In this role, you’ll blend metrology, statistical thinking, and cross-functional leadership to prevent defects, accelerate learning, and harden processes. You’ll collaborate with production, suppliers, and customers to verify requirements and remove friction—while mentoring others to elevate quality across the plant.

What you will own

  • Analyze quality data to drive measurable reductions in process and product nonconformances; publish clear reports and dashboards.
  • Plan and execute APQP activities: control/inspection plans, PPAP, FAIR, and FMEA/PFMEA.
  • Lead MRB and RCCA to identify true root cause and implement effective, lasting corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing to validate product quality and close issues quickly.
  • Coach, mentor, and train teammates to strengthen site-wide quality capability.
  • Conduct internal, part, process, product, supplier, and customer audits.

Your background

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (or two-year engineering-related degree) plus 5+ years in manufacturing quality, or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to Battery Production, Machining, and Electronic Assembly and harnessing is highly desirable.
  • High integrity, strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership presence.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with sharp analytical skills.
  • Clear, confident communicator with executive-ready writing and presenting skills.
  • Comfortable in ERP/MRP (Infor Syteline, SAP) and planning environments.
  • Expert with CAD/CAE or similar data-intensive interfaces.
  • Advanced user of SharePoint, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and especially Excel.
  • Travel: 10%–25% as required.
