Is this you?

  • Do you excel at reading single-line diagrams, schematics, and code specs—and turning them into clean, compliant installations?
  • Can you install and service switchgear, MCCs, busducts, and control panels with minimal supervision?
  • Are you confident with high-voltage three-phase systems, generators, transformers, and UPS assets?
  • When an electrical emergency hits, are you first to assess scene safety, direct people, and restore power safely?
  • Do you lead by example—coaching peers, running PMs, and documenting thoroughly?

What you will tackle

  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, fixtures, switchgear, MCCs, busducts, and related equipment.
  • Inspect/test systems to surface hazards, defects, or adjustment needs; execute corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot faults using meters and other testing devices across plant electrical systems.
  • Lay out conduit runs, bend to spec, and pull conductors per applicable codes.
  • Manage/maintain generators, disconnects, and UPS systems to ensure power continuity.
  • Perform preventive maintenance; develop and implement maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience of lock-out/tag-out program with regards to OSHA 29 CFR 19190.147 control of hazardous equipment.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete reports on time.
  • Respond to on‑call and after-hours needs; perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Credentials we require

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a trade or vocational school (related field).
  • Current journeyman electrician license (required); Master Electrician License preferred.
  • 5+ years journeyman experience with advanced industrial systems.

  • Install power systems for lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.
  • Build/install control panels; construct/install switchgear, MCCs, and busducts.
  • Read Electrical Single Line blueprints; diagnose and repair apparatus and circuit faults.
  • Proficiency with hand/power tools; strong oral/written communication.
  • Ability to lead others in troubleshooting and emergency repair scenarios.
  • Customer service mindset supporting an internal manufacturing customer base.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
  • Willing and able to respond 24/7, including weekends, nights, and holidays; participate in on‑call rotation.

Physical realities of the work

  • Extended standing and walking.
  • Lifting 50–75 lbs frequently; up to 150 lbs with assistance on occasion.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling; repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions; reaching to high/difficult areas.

Travel
