Metronet is the largest independent fiber-optic ISP in the United States and our company is taking on Metronet's exciting, new campaigns to expand High-speed Fiber Internet service in new areas.
Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to work directly with customers, enjoys the outdoors and seeking an opportunity to capitalize on an uncapped commission/bonus structure! We train our full-time sales representatives to ensure you have the tools, resources and training you need to thrive. We are actively seeking highly motivated and ambitious Outside Sales Representatives to have the opportunity to become part of our team and represent Metronet Fiber.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities Involve:
- Meet virtually or in-person with your team for training.
- Conduct door to door Residential outside sales.
- Develop your pipeline from qualified leads through face-to-face presentations.
- Open communication and support with your team throughout each day.
- Track and manage your sales, follow-ups, and client information through our CRM daily.

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively and professionally with customers
- Proficient in identifying customer needs and tailoring the right solution to the customer use case
- A strong personal drive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle, including during inclement weather.
- Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and communication devices
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to maximize customer contact
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications:
- Motivated and driven sales closer with a desire to make $65k+ within your first year.
- Confident and savvy with current technology is a MUST.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Aspiration to grow within the company
- Previous success in direct sales is preferred, but not required.
- MUST HAVE a valid US Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- MUST BE authorized to work in the United States.
