• Make orthopedic instruments and implants with measurable impact on patient outcomes.
• Independently run advanced CNC mill‑turn equipment on a steady 2nd/3rd shift in Akron, OH.

What you’ll tackle

• Operate multiple CNC mill‑turn machines autonomously to hit quality and throughput targets.
• Perform complete setups: load tools, set offsets, verify programs, and prepare for first‑piece approval.
• Initiate and maintain the First Piece Log to lock in conformance before production.
• Execute change‑overs, including tool size swaps, and set tooling across all machine types in your assigned zone.
• Deburr parts and perform in‑process inspection using precision metrology equipment.
• Complete required paperwork, including job travelers and I.P. sheets, accurately and on time.
• Carry out daily preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at peak capability.

What you bring

• 2+ years of CNC operating experience with proven setup capability.
• Advanced blueprint reading and strong GD&T comprehension.
• Team‑first approach with solid communication on the shop floor.

Technical fluency

• GD&T interpretation and verification
• CNC tooling fundamentals and best practices
• G‑code and M‑code familiarity
• CNC setup and changeover execution
• Precision measurement and hand metrology techniques
