Transportation Support Analyst

Position Summary
The Transportation Support Analyst provides administrative and operational support to the transportation team. This role supports shipping label creation, carrier and supplier claims, data management, customer and carrier communication, and general transportation coordination to help ensure accurate and timely execution of daily operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage shipping labels for transportation activities, including inbound supplier shipments, quality returns, Premium Freight Requests (PFRs), and other shipping needs.
- Support the email process and respond to transportation-related requests and inquiries.
- Submit, track, and manage supplier and transportation carrier claims, ensuring all required supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, internal team members, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support daily transportation activities.
- Coordinate and maintain documents, reports, emails, presentations, and other business communications.
- Acquire, review, enter, format, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic tools.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to track, analyze, document, and report information.
- Review and proofread documents for accuracy, completeness, consistency, grammar, and spelling.
- Ensure documents and communications follow applicable corporate and organizational standards.
- Research solutions to customer and operational inquiries and route issues to the appropriate resources when necessary.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, self-audits, team audits, and resulting corrective actions.
- Develop strong working relationships across the organization to facilitate problem-solving and effective execution.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as needed to support transportation operations and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience, or experience in a comparable analytical role outside of supply chain.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused approach with practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- General understanding of supply chain and logistics terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with transportation carriers, supplier claims, shipping documentation, or freight-related processes.

Schedule & Assignment Details
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Some overtime may be required.
- Assignment is expected to extend beyond one year.
- Selected candidates will complete a 30-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager.
