Manufacturing Engineer

This is a contract opportunity running until December 2027, offering the chance to join a manufacturing environment and make a meaningful impact across production and process improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and improve manufacturing processes across assigned areas. You will analyze production data, identify inefficiencies, support hardware disposition, and develop practical improvements that enhance throughput, reduce waste, and improve process stability.

As the Manufacturing Engineer your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting production by analyzing processes, resolving inefficiencies, and evaluating non conforming hardware for repair, rework, or replacement
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing processes while improving workflow accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Analyzing process capability and production data using SPC and statistical tools to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Creating and maintaining production documentation while supporting the transition to digital platforms
  • Managing smaller manufacturing projects and supporting equipment, tooling, and process improvement initiatives

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent international qualification, or eight years of equivalent experience
  • Experience analyzing production data using tools such as Pareto charts, process control charts, or SPC
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods including Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping
  • Understanding of DFMA principles, APQP tools, process capability, and structured root cause analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across manufacturing and engineering teams
