On-Premise Coffee Service Route Account Executive

Day in the life: Own your route, grow your book

Sun’s up, truck’s loaded, and your first café is ready for you. As our On-Premise Coffee Service Route Account Executive, you’re the face of Farmer Brothers on a defined route—delivering coffee, tea, and allied products, elevating beverage stations to standard, and growing sales through trust, consistency, and smart selling.

What your day looks like

  • Run a set schedule of stops to ensure every customer receives on-time delivery and service.
  • Stock, rotate, and replenish beverage station products at each call; keep stations to standard and equipment clean and operational.
  • Perform a minimum of one CQC (Cup Quality Check) each day to verify quality and equipment performance.
  • Use the “The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell” call process—recap services provided and present business-building ideas before you leave.
  • Quickly resolve or escalate issues to maintain outstanding customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage invoices, inventory, and collections daily to keep your route running smoothly.

How you win

  • Hit the route’s revenue plan by adding new customers, expanding categories and product mix at existing accounts, executing pricing actions, and retaining current customers.
  • Target at least 1 prospect call per day (5 weekly) and secure a minimum of two new qualifying accounts per quarter (8 annually).
  • Lift Revenue per Stop by closing distribution gaps on core items, activating seasonal and LTO promotions, applying pricing strategy, and ensuring the beverage station is always set to standard.
  • Participate in regional and company promotions to spark trial and repeat.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of route delivery experience in a related B2B customer service environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with company hardware and software products.
  • Physical capability to lift 75 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of the foodservice industry and a clean, strong driving record.
