Build High-Precision Systems as a Heavy Structural Welder-Fabricator

Location: Decatur, Alabama

Step onto the shop floor each morning and get right to the work that powers modern data infrastructure. You’ll review fabrication drawings, prep materials, and assemble structural components that become part of HAX Systems for data centers—built entirely in a controlled shop environment.

A day in the shop

  • Open the day shift with a plan: confirm fit-up against blueprints and fabricate structural assemblies with accuracy.
  • Tackle heavy industrial welds and structural joints using proven shop practices.
  • Partner with teammates to meet production goals on a long-term project with steady hours.

What you bring

  • Strong industrial fabrication and manufacturing background.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience with structural and heavy industrial welding (preferred).
  • Reliable transportation and a solid, safety-first work ethic.

Weld testing you’ll complete

  • 3G V-Groove Uphill Test
  • 4G Overhead Test

Schedule and pay

  • Day shift
  • Approximately 50 hours per week
  • Long-term, steady workload
  • $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience and weld test performance
