Picture your morning: you review a thoughtfully planned route in Service Titan, load a well-stocked company vehicle, and head out to restore comfort for families and small businesses across town. At each stop, you assess, diagnose, and either maintain, repair, or upgrade HVAC systems—always leaving customers with clear explanations and 5‑star confidence. What a typical day includes

  • Travel to residential and light commercial locations to troubleshoot and service heating and cooling systems.
  • Perform planned maintenance: clean coils, check condensate drainage, optimize airflow, and fine‑tune components for peak efficiency.
  • Complete professional installations and system upgrades with safety and precision.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in plain, friendly language; secure approvals; and deliver quality workmanship.
  • Document work thoroughly; keep the jobsite and company vehicle organized and clean.
  • Support urgent and after‑hours needs as part of an on‑call rotation; handle additional duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • 2–5+ years of HVAC experience, with a strong residential service focus.
  • EPA Certification (required).
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least two years of driving experience (required).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and critical‑thinking skills for complex issues.
  • Pride in craftsmanship, a positive attitude, and professional communication.
  • Customer‑first mindset; ability to adapt in fast‑changing environments; collaborative team spirit.

Physical realities of the role

  • Routinely lift 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; navigate tight areas; drive; push, carry, and pull; use hand tools; perform fine‑detail work.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Work indoors and outdoors, including attics and crawlspaces.
  • Stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear in person and by phone.
  • Use hands to handle tools/controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
  • Frequent exposure to extreme heat/cold and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, or snow).

Compensation & schedule details

  • Installation pay – Piece Pay (Flat rate Lead = 60% / helper 40%)
  • Non‑install work is hourly
  • Schedules include an on‑call rotation
