Shop-Floor Quality Systems Lead Technician

Your challenge

1. Ensure quality at the point of production by auditing processes and standard work.
2. Diagnose issues side-by-side with operators and helpers; restore flow quickly.
3. Be the resident expert for quality methods, tools, and best practices.

Schedule & pay

Hiring for A, B, C, D shifts. 7am-7pm/7pm-7am. Pay range: $25-$38/hourly.

What success looks like

• Products sampled and tested at key stages, with both destructive and non-destructive methods applied as appropriate.
• Equipment and tooling condition monitored; timely recommendations for maintenance or replacement issued.
• Test and performance data recorded, analyzed, and deviations clearly flagged.
• Accurate data entered into analysis systems for traceable, data-driven decisions.
• Production audits performed and documented with consistency.
• Standards aligned with management and engineering, and continuously improved.
• Safety and procedures followed to the letter.
• Routine tasks executed on time, plus flexibility for other reasonable duties.

Background we value

• 2–4 years in wire and cable or a related sector.
• Experience across various software platforms.
• Familiarity with project management and Lean Manufacturing.
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical realities of the job

• Standing up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Walking long distances between plant workstations.
• Lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds on occasion.
• Using small tools and lab instruments with fine motor skills.
• Bending, stooping, reaching, and performing repetitive motions.
• Working comfortably in heat and noise.
