Your impact

From the shop floor to roadside assistance, you’ll ensure our fleet operates at peak performance and stays compliant.

  • Pinpoint malfunctions and execute repairs on steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking, drivetrain, suspension, power steering units, clutches, and transmissions.
  • Adjust, test, and where necessary rebuild engines; service oil, temperature, and fuel control components.
  • Work within your qualification level while complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Validate fixes with thorough test drives.
  • Coordinate mandatory inspections and obtain approvals for major repairs before vehicle release.
  • Keep a clean, safe, and efficient work area that meets federal, state/provincial, and local requirements.
  • Accurately log time, parts, and maintenance/repair details on designated forms.
  • Respond to road calls and complete on-the-road repairs as assigned.
  • Identify additional service needs and elevate items requiring higher-level technician qualifications.
  • Notify the Lead Technician of any unsafe maintenance conditions, practices, or suspected vehicle abuse.

What sets you up for success

  • 2–4 years’ experience maintaining medium/heavy truck fleets.
  • Proven diagnostic prowess, plus electrical and A/C expertise.
  • Solid command of core vehicle systems and diesel platforms.
  • Experience across fleet diesel and gasoline systems.
  • Ownership of recommended minimum diesel technician hand tools.
  • Clear-headed judgment and confident decision-making.
  • Valid state driver’s license; CDL preferred.
  • ASE certification preferred but not required.
