Reception Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

The Reception Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to various departments. This position answers telephones, greets visitors, and provides general administrative support. The successful candidate is organized, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies when necessary
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
  • Maintain filing systems and databases
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
