About the role

Nexus Employment is hiring Quality Control Production Line Inspectors for a food manufacturing facility in Portage, IN. In this role, you will monitor the production line, verify specifications, and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols are consistently followed.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming ingredients, in-process items, and packaging materials.
• Conduct routine quality checks and product testing.
• Flag, record, and communicate defects to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to GMPs and site safety procedures at all times.
• Keep inspection areas tidy and organized for efficient operations.

What you bring

• Experience in production or quality inspection (preferred).
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours during shifts.
• Competence with basic to intermediate math.
• Dependable, proactive, and team-focused attitude.
