Endodontist – Suffern, NY

We are looking for a full-time Endodontist to care for patients in Suffern, New York, in the Rockland County area close to the New Jersey border. You will receive referrals from general dentists across the Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey, and you will have the time and equipment to treat difficult cases properly. This is a great fit for a specialist who wants a steady caseload and a supportive team.

What you will do

Perform non-surgical root canal treatment, retreatment and management of calcified or curved canals.

Carry out microsurgical procedures such as apicoectomy and perform vital pulp therapy where appropriate.

Treat urgent referrals from Suffern and neighboring Rockland communities, including dental trauma and acute pain.

Work with a surgical microscope, digital radiography and CBCT to diagnose accurately.

Write clear referral letters and keep detailed clinical notes.

What we are looking for

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.

Graduate of a CODA-accredited endodontics residency, and board certified or board eligible in endodontics.

New York State dental license with specialty registration, or eligibility to obtain one before starting.

Excellent clinical skills, patience with anxious patients and professional communication with referring offices.

Compensation and benefits

Pay range: $250,000 to $350,000 per year, full-time position, depending on experience and productivity. Benefits may include continuing education allowance, malpractice insurance, 401(k), health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and help with licensing costs.

Schedule

Full-time, usually Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no routine weekend work. Your schedule will be built around your preferences and the referral volume in Suffern, and it will be reviewed with you during the interview.
