Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Dayton, TX -** **77535.

Shift: 3rd shift

Pay Range: $30 - $32/hr

Overview

We’re hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation. This is a night shift role in a fast-paced environment where uptime is critical. The ideal candidate isstrong electrically, capable of troubleshooting down to the PLC level, and comfortable handling both reactive and preventive maintenance.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repairelectrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systemson production equipment
• Troubleshootcontrol systems and PLC-driven machinery(no programming required)
• Performpreventive maintenanceto reduce downtime and improve reliability
• Support repairs on motors, drives, sensors, and related components
• Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as needed
• Document work performed and communicate issues across shifts
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years ofindustrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strongelectrical troubleshooting skills(required)
• Working knowledge ofPLCs (no programming access), motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability toread and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Mechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Comfortable working independently on night shift

Additional Details

• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required for documentation and tracking
• Strong problem-solving mindset — able to diagnose issues, not just replace parts
