Account Executive

About the Role

A fast-growing AI SaaS startup in Vienna is looking for an Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. The company provides an AI-powered phone assistant platform that automates customer communication for SMEs — handling inbound calls, scheduling appointments, transcribing conversations, and integrating with CRMs and calendars. With a strong and growing customer base across the DACH region, they are scaling rapidly and need a driven closer to own the full sales cycle on high-volume inbound leads.

This is a no cold-outreach role — you will run 8–16 qualified inbound demos per day and focus entirely on converting warm, prequalified leads.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct multiple discovery and demo calls daily with prequalified inbound leads, showcasing the AI phone assistant and its business value.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first contact through closing, working toward clear monthly and quarterly quota targets.
  • Manage warm leads, prepare timely follow-ups, and maintain a clean and up-to-date CRM pipeline.
  • Ensure smooth handovers to the Customer Success team after deal closure.
  • Provide structured customer feedback to Marketing and contribute to reliable sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Customer Success to continuously optimize the sales motion.

What We're Looking For

  • Required: 1+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven end-to-end closing track record.
  • Required: Native-level German proficiency — you will be selling primarily to German-speaking customers.
  • Experience handling 8–16 qualified inbound demo appointments per day.
  • Comfortable owning quota with clear monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Experienced in structured CRM-based pipeline management and lead follow-up (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong product and technical understanding enabling effective SaaS demonstrations.
  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success and contribute to forecasting.
  • Nice to have: Prior startup or scale-up SaaS sales experience.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of AI, telephony, or contact center technologies.
  • Nice to have: Experience with data-driven forecasting tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive OTE: €70,000–€120,000 (base salary plus uncapped commission).

Location

This role is based on-site in Vienna, Austria, with a hybrid option available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
