Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm.
What you’ll do by level
Level 1 Finisher
- Support the main finisher on Press Brakes, Shears, and Hot Melt Machines.
- Help shear panels, form edges, and pour Polyamide accurately.
- Use measuring tools and perform math (fractions, decimals, multiplication/addition) to confirm dimensions.
- Complete visual inspections to confirm product quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and flex your schedule to match shifting priorities.
- Assist with tasks at the same or lower job grade as needed.
- Actively promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
Level 2 Finisher
- Maintain full proficiency in all Level 1 responsibilities.
- Operate a Press Brake, Shear, or Hot Melt Machine as the main finisher; determine correct setups and machine settings to achieve quality targets.
- Provide clear direction to your helper and communicate the support you need.
- Train Level 1 finishers and those preparing to advance to Level 2.
- Model Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
Level 3 Finisher
- Quickly preset and set up all Press Brakes, Shears, and Hot Melt Machines; function as the main finisher on any line.
- Follow and help shape ISO-compliant SOPs and work instructions.
- Drive LEAN and world-class improvement efforts.
- Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 teammates.
- Consistently champion Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; OR 1–3 months of related experience/training; OR an equivalent blend of education and experience.
Safety is everyone’s job
- Learn and follow EHS policies, rules, and work instructions; complete all required EHS training.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Protect yourself and others by participating in or conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, corrective actions, and safety observations.
- Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions/acts, and hazards. Stop work if there is imminent danger.
- Keep your area clean and organized; ensure equipment remains in proper working order.
