Paralegal

A confidential national plaintiffs’ law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Mesothelioma/Asbestos Paralegal for its New York City team. This role supports high‑impact litigation on behalf of asbestos victims and their families.

We are only considering candidates with plaintiff‑side asbestos/mesothelioma experience or closely aligned plaintiff litigation backgrounds (e.g., toxic torts, product liability, medical‑heavy PI).
Defense asbestos paralegals will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of plaintiff asbestos litigation
• Manage medical records, exposure histories, discovery, depositions, and trial prep
• Communicate with clients and families in sensitive, time‑critical matters
• Coordinate filings, experts, and case deadlines in a structured environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of plaintiff asbestos/mesothelioma experience or strong plaintiff litigation experience that aligns with mesothelioma work
• Strong litigation support and case‑management skills
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and professional
• Ability to work onsite with the NYC team
