Product Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage healthtech startup in Berlin building a personal health intelligence platform that combines lab testing, wearable data, and AI-driven insights into a single seamless experience. This is a high-ownership, founder-style role for a full-stack engineer who loves shipping real product and operating without hand-offs.

What You'll Do

  • Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and third-party integrations — no PM, no tickets, just you and the problem.
  • Design and implement customer-facing dashboards and subscription flows for a web application.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external lab partners and supplement manufacturers via APIs.
  • Leverage modern AI development workflows and tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) including evals and agentic pipelines to move fast and ship quality software.
  • Contribute to product decisions, architecture choices, and the overall direction of the platform.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 0–1 years of software development experience with shipped real-world software — startup, founder, or indie hacker context strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI development workflows and tooling.
  • Experience building customer-facing dashboards and subscription flows.
  • Experience integrating external partners/vendors via APIs.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving, founder-mode environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Must be based in Berlin and able to work on-site five days per week (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js with React and PostgreSQL; familiarity with Supabase and Vercel is a plus.
  • Interest or background in preventive health, longevity, or biomarkers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $36,000–$48,000 per year (USD equivalent)
  • High-impact, high-ownership role at an early-stage company
  • Work directly with founders on a product that matters
