Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead,
plan, and monitor projects from initiation through completion. The role
requires strong expertise in project planning, procurement processes,
performance monitoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure projects
are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives
while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and monitor procurement plans and prepare detailed project schedules,
including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide
senior management with regular updates on project progress, including
weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare
quarterly administrative reports covering procurement plans and the status
of all ongoing projects.
- Establish
key performance indicators (KPIs), assess project performance, identify
deviations, and recommend corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
- Prepare
data-driven reports, including tables, charts, and dashboards, to clearly
communicate project progress and performance.
- Ensure
all projects are initiated as planned or ahead of schedule where possible.
- Monitor
team performance and ensure all project tasks are executed efficiently and
effectively.
- Support
market research activities, including data collection, benchmarking, and
comparative analysis.
- Develop
and standardize processes, procedures, and templates using smart tools,
and present them for management approval and team adoption.
- Track
project timelines and proactively address risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
- Lead
knowledge transfer initiatives and provide training to team members on
project management methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field.
- Professional
certification in Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2) is required.
- Additional
certifications such as Certified Professional in Procurement, CPE, or AICP
are considered an advantage.
Experience
- 5–7
years of proven experience in project management, including end-to-end
project delivery.
- Strong
experience in preparing professional reports and presentations.
- Solid
understanding of government financial regulations, particularly tendering
and procurement laws and executive regulations.
- Experience
in government procurement cycles, financial analysis, feasibility studies,
market studies, and budgeting.
- Proven
ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior
experience in government or semi-government consulting environments is an
advantage.
