Plant Maintenance Mechanic, Automation & Power Systems
Resonac Powdered Metals America designs and manufactures high‑performance powdered metal parts for the automotive and industrial sectors. We’re growing our maintenance team in Greensburg, IN and seeking a technician ready to sharpen both mechanical and electrical skills while supporting a safe, high‑quality operation.
Your Mission
Keep our production assets running at their best. From PLC‑controlled equipment to hydraulic presses and pneumatic circuits, you’ll be the hands‑on expert who prevents downtime, solves problems quickly, and documents work with care.

How you’ll contribute
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical and electrical equipment
- Assist in diagnosing motors, drives, and PLC‑controlled machinery
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for safe, reliable operation
- Execute preventive maintenance plans and detailed inspections
- Support installation and startup of new or upgraded equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation
- Work safely and follow all company policies
What you’ll need to succeed
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Electrical knowledge spanning 24 VDC through 480V 3‑phase
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills (preferred)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving ability, and collaboration skills
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Physical requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Stand, walk, bend, and work in industrial conditions
- Work at heights or in confined spaces when required
