Precision Die Setup Technician

Day in the life — Brighton, MI

You arrive on the floor, review the run sheet, and prep the press for a changeover. With the overhead crane, you safely rig and position the next die, dial in alignment, verify sensor function, and run a first-article check. Throughout the shift, you watch the gauges, listen for telltale sounds, and fine-tune the setup so quality stays tight and output stays steady. You document what you did, why you did it, and what to repeat next time—then hand off a smooth-running line to the production team.

Overtime available.
