Oracle Fusion/EBS Financials Functional Consultant – FAH/SLA, Fixed Assets, Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to lead and support implementations, upgrades, and production support across core Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and Oracle Fusion Financials modules. The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional SME with deep expertise in the Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets (FA), and Project Accounting, and is comfortable working directly with Finance stakeholders in an onshore-offshore delivery model. This role is remote (U.S.).

Work Authorization: This role is open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders (Lawful Permanent Residents) only. No visa sponsorship is available now or in the future. W2 only — Corp-to-Corp (C2C) engagements are not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and support of Oracle Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Inventory, Expenses, and Projects.
• Implement and support Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA): source system setup, Account Derivation Rules (ADRs), Journal Line Rules, Mapping Sets, and the event model.
• Configure Fixed Assets (FA), including asset capitalization for capital and contract projects.
• Set up and support Project Accounting integrated with Procurement, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.
• Design and test inbound accounting interfaces and reconcile FAH journals to GL balances.
• Configure core setups: Chart of Accounts, legal entities, ledgers, reporting currencies, and approval hierarchies.
• Support Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) flows, including IR/ISO processes.
• Write and troubleshoot PL/SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Lead UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support; support month-end close cycles and reconciliations.
• Provide SME guidance, training, and documentation (e.g., BR100) to Finance teams and offshore resources.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS / Fusion Financials functional experience across core modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Projects).
• Hands-on expertise with Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA), including ADRs, Journal Line Rules, and Mapping Sets.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fixed Assets (FA) and Project Accounting / asset capitalization.
• Proficiency writing PL/SQL for troubleshooting, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading fit-gap analysis, setups, SIT/UAT, cutover, and period-close support.
• Proven ability to lead onshore-offshore teams and work directly with Finance stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with cross-module integrations (OM, Procurement, FA, Projects) and IR/ISO flows.
• Experience migrating from third-party tax systems to Oracle EBTax.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
