Quality Inspector - Plymouth, Michigan IMMEDIATE HIRE $16.00 per hour
Available Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday (OT and weekends mandatory as production scheduled) 2nd Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday (OT and weekends mandatory as production scheduled) 3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Monday through Friday (OT and weekends mandatory as production scheduled)
*Visual inspection of metal automotive parts weighing up to 40lbs. - heavy lifting required
Summary of the Quality Inspector: Inspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possible
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
Inspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materials
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Education and Experience of the Quality Inspector:
High School Diploma / GED preferred
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 40 LBS. CONTINUOUSLY THROUGHOUT SHIFT
Previous inspection experience preferred
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to stand for long hours
Able to read and write
