Nuclear I&C Work Package Planner

Contract (long-term) | Onsite in Bridgman, MI

A day in this role

You start your morning onsite in Bridgman, MI, opening client-approved planning tools to map out the day’s Instrumentation & Controls work. After a quick sync with operations, you walk the field to validate scope, verify access and clearances, and capture the details that elevate a work package from good to great. Back at your desk, you refine job steps to AP-930 standards, align tasks to codes and vendor recommendations, and assemble materials—selecting items for purchase or flagging procurement recommendations so execution crews have exactly what they need.

As the day continues, you review engineering changes, sit in on work breakdown structure meetings, and collaborate with vendor/craft supervision, work management, operations, and engineering to resolve package issues. You keep outage milestones front-and-center, supporting schedule rotation and sequencing. You document everything in Maximo and leverage Action Way (Corrective Action Program) to close the loop on issues. Some tasks may require entry into hazardous areas with possible radiation exposure, always within NRC-prescribed limits.
