Pharmaceutical Production Specialist — Compression & Encapsulation

Join Adare’s Manufacturing Operations team and help deliver essential medicines. Reporting to a Shift Supervisor, you’ll operate across core OSD processes and expand your skills through structured cross-training.

What you will do

  • Set up dispensing areas per SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs); maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork.
  • Dispense and issue raw materials per SOP/BMR; verify approvals, expiry, and retest dates; record issuance in Production Batch Records and inventory systems.
  • Clean rooms and equipment (mills, mixers, ovens, granulators, encapsulation and compression equipment) to SOP standards.
  • Operate granulation and blending equipment to specified parameters.
  • Run coating operations using Coating Pans (Accela Cota, Compulab) and dust collection systems.
  • Compress and encapsulate product per BMR; operate encapsulation equipment.
  • Operate tablet compression assets: Kilian S520, Syntheses 500, tablet presses, drum lifters, dedusters, metal detectors, scales, micrometers, hardness testers, printers, and inspection machines.
  • Follow cGMP, documentation, gowning, and Safety Policies at all times; maintain clean, audit-ready work areas.
  • Complete required training; wear respiratory protection when required (medical clearance needed).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and support the team schedule.

What you bring

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working under GMP.
  • Computer literacy for training and equipment/control interfaces; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Math proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Comfort presenting to small groups (customers or company employees).
  • Ability to interpret and execute detailed instructions from written, oral, or diagram sources using sound judgment.
