What you’ll do

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and plant systems
  • Service motors, VFDs/drives, starters, breakers, transformers, and control systems
  • Interpret and apply electrical prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Work with PLCs, instrumentation, and electronic controls
  • Install and replace motors, valves, thermocouples, and transmitters
  • Support and execute preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability
  • Use CMMS to enter/track work orders; identify and procure needed parts
  • Operate mobile equipment and assist with rigging as required
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What makes you successful

  • Industrial electrical maintenance background (required)
  • Strong diagnostic skills across electrical and control platforms
  • Experience with PLCs, process instrumentation, and automation (preferred)
  • Fluent in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of power distribution and AC/DC fundamentals
  • Comfort using hand tools, meters, and test/measurement equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical requirements

  • Lift up to 100 lbs
  • Work at heights, in tight/confined spaces, and in temperature extremes
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive tasks
  • Operate in environments with dust, fumes, and industrial conditions

  • Passing an electrical aptitude test is required
