Key Production Supervisor in charge of 10 to 20 hourly workers responsible for daily processing and shipping of aftermarket automotive glass to domestic and worldwide customers. Must have strong leadership and problem analysis skills. Experience in QAD (Warehouse management automated system) a plus.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plan and supervise the activities of the Distribution Center in accordance with targeted production standards, established programs and quality standards
- Monitor activities of warehouse hourly personnel carry out performance evaluations; disciplinary actions and task organize personnel to accomplish daily objectives
- Identify, recommend and execute opportunities for continuous process improvements in productivity, cost and quality
- Identify, track and seek resolution for distribution related safety/process/quality issues
- Exercise general supervision, with HR guidance, over Industrial Relations activities related to the development and administration of appropriate programs. Implement corporate policy and procedures for employee relations, benefits administration and management development
- Recommend programs and process improvements to improve customer service relationships in order to better service customer’s needs in conjunction with Sales and Marketing activity.
