What You’ll Repair and Maintain

  • Injection and extrusion blow molding equipment.
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Plant utilities: compressed air and chilled water.
  • Vacuum systems, including loaders, pumps, and blenders.
  • Auxiliary/automation equipment: conveyors, grinders, and robotics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot using multimeters, amp clamps, and gauges to pinpoint issues fast.
  • Read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and parts lists to plan and execute repairs.
  • Create, manage, and close work orders in IQMS with accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate parts ordering to support timely, well-documented fixes.
  • Provide maintenance coverage during overtime, weekends, and scheduled shutdowns.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong skills across both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems and 24VDC controls.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to keep learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background with plastics or molding equipment.
  • Experience operating machining tools: mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.
  • Welding ability (steel, stainless, aluminum).
  • Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.

Environment & Physical Demands

  • Manufacturing floor with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Hands-on, fast-moving production setting.
