Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Travel to different job sites within the region as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work at various job sites as needed.
