Industrialization Engineer, Lean Systems & MES

Ready to Turn Designs into Scalable, Secure Production?

Do you enjoy taking a concept from drawing board to factory floor? Can you blend Lean thinking, MES know‑how, and hands-on collaboration to improve safety, quality, and cost? If so, step into this Industrialization Engineer role and help shape how Rockwell Automation builds today and tomorrow.

Your Impact

  • Hit annual productivity targets by launching CI projects that also reduce ergonomic and safety risks.
  • Translate designs into robust processes—partnering with design engineering on product release and supporting application engineering on electrical panel builds and troubleshooting.
  • Stand up standard work across multiple plants and govern process consistency.
  • Leverage AI to analyze production data and optimize workflows for waste elimination.
  • Influence technology roadmaps by assessing and justifying emerging manufacturing solutions.
  • Implement secure, productive shop‑floor information systems, including MES and data/knowledge management.
  • Participate in NPI and continuation engineering reviews (DFM, DFA, PFMEA) to hard‑wire quality into the process.
  • Own cost/time estimates and recommend equipment, tooling, and fixtures; lead procurement, installation, and validation.
  • Maintain clear records and reporting that keep operations aligned.
  • Operate within regulatory and company standards (state/federal, ISO 9001, ISO 14000).

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent presence in both office and plant, communicating clearly across technical and cultural backgrounds.
