Residential Real Estate Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Residential Real Estate Data Analyst to transform complex real estate data into actionable insights. In this role, you will analyze market trends, agent rosters, and sales performance data to support strategic decision-making. You’ll leverage your expertise in data visualization, scripting, and real estate datasets to drive efficiency and improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze residential real estate market data, agent performance, and sales trends to generate reports and insights.

• Develop data visualizations using Tableau, Flourish, and other tools to present findings in a compelling way.

• Build and maintain Excel models to track key real estate metrics.

• Use Python and Google Apps Script to automate data collection, processing, and reporting.

• Work with real estate datasets, including MLS data, agent rosters, production reports, and housing market trends.

• Collaborate with real estate brokers, marketing teams, and leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning, processing, and standardizing data from multiple sources.

• Monitor industry trends and provide insights on market shifts, pricing strategies, and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in data analytics within real estate, finance, or a related industry.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Flourish, or similar data visualization tools.

• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.

• Experience with Python and Google Apps Script for data automation and analysis.

• Deep understanding of real estate datasets, including MLS, agent rosters, and transaction data.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with real estate brokerages, MLS platforms, or proptech companies.

• Familiarity with SQL and database management for querying large datasets.

• Understanding of real estate marketing, pricing strategies, and market segmentation.
