Reactor Component Fatigue Analyst (Mechanical Engineer I)

Support clean energy by advancing fatigue and aging management for nuclear power plants.
Role Snapshot
- Function: Mechanical engineering focused on fatigue/aging management of reactor components
- Reports to: Manager, Fatigue Aging Management for Reactor Component Engineering
- Location: Westinghouse HQ, Cranberry, PA (Greater Pittsburgh). Hybrid schedule at manager’s discretion
- Relocation: No relocation assistance will be provided for this position
What You'll Do
- Build expertise across plant lifecycle: design, construction, operation, and decommissioning.
- Develop deep technical knowledge of U.S. and international nuclear markets and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve critical issues impacting build and operations.
- Strengthen customer relationships through responsive, high-quality technical support.
What You Bring
- BS in Mechanical Engineering required (other disciplines will not be considered).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Hands-on experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferred; strong analytical toolkit required.
Compensation
- Base salary: $58,400–$73,000 per year (commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills).
