Step into a Day in the Field

Your morning starts at 6:00 AM with schedules routed from our Mamaroneck, NY base. You head into Manhattan to keep offices, institutions, and mixed‑use facilities comfortable and efficient. One call might have you diagnosing a chiller control fault; the next, balancing a VAV box or tuning a rooftop unit. By afternoon, you’re interpreting a wiring diagram to isolate a short, documenting your findings, and communicating next steps clearly to the client. When needed, you join the after‑hours on‑call rotation to keep critical systems online.

What You’ll Handle

• Comprehensive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial systems: chillers, boilers, water‑source heat pumps, cooling towers, packaged rooftops, split systems, controls, pumps, and VAVs
• Reading and applying wiring diagrams and schematic drawings with precision
• Delivering clear, professional service and recommendations to clients
• Diagnosing issues fast and fixing them right to reduce downtime
• Carrying and climbing ladders up to 40 feet; working safely at heights and in confined spaces
• Participating in the after‑hours on‑call rotation as assigned

What You Bring

• 2+ years as a commercial HVAC service technician
• EPA certification (required)
• NYC Site Safety Training (SST) Card; G60 and F60 preferred
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• High school diploma or GED; technical school training preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• OSHA certification a plus
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, and sustain physically demanding tasks

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime opportunities
• Competitive hourly rate: $35–$45/hr
