Mechanical Systems Millwright — Blueprint & Crane Specialist

Is this you?

• You thrive building heavy machinery from fabricated and machined components.
• You operate an overhead crane solo and can rig and load trucks with confidence.
• Blueprints and schematics are your roadmap—no guesswork.
• You’re meticulous about quality, safety, and keeping an organized work area.

What you’ll do

• Assemble complex machinery—small to large—per prints and schematics.
• Rig, lift, move, and load with overhead cranes independently.
• Choose the right tools and equipment to hit production schedules.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure all quality criteria are met.
• Complete monthly safety training and follow safe work practices.
• Support internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Provide cross-coverage and backup within the assembly team.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation.
• Weld as needed (nice-to-have, not required).
• Champion BCT’s Culture and Core Values each day.

Must-haves

• Overhead crane experience (required).
• 3+ years in manufacturing or a comparable environment (required).
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Detail orientation, thoroughness, problem-solving, and reliable follow-through.
• Math skills: add/subtract/multiply/divide and metric conversions.
• Foundational mechanical knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

• Heavy industrial equipment repair experience.
• Industrial heavy machine assembly background.
• Hydraulics exposure.
• Ability to weld.
