Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of High-Voltage (HV) battery packs and modules in accordance with approved work instructions and safety protocols
Diagnose errors or technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
Perform root cause analysis on failed components using appropriate equipment, perform part replacements, and verify compliance through inspections and testing
Review and produce scrap reports, ensure accuracy, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
Create RMA analysis reports and document findings, repairs, and part usage into company service and inventory platforms such as Salesforce, PLEX, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms
Support quality investigations, 8D creation, and continuous improvement initiatives for returned materials
Conduct and perform quality checks and document test and inspection data to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards
Maintain tools and equipment, perform proper calibration, and keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with safety and ergonomic guidelines
Manage returned-pack inventory, including restocking by forklift operation, disposal, or repair actions
Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment
Participate in the development of troubleshooting workflows and documentation
Data entry into multiple platforms
Adhere to federal and state regulations
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Position Qualifications of the RMA Technician:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of (2) two years' of relevant manufacturing or mechanical experience
Proficient in forklift operation
Ability to effectively use Microsoft productivity tools for documentation and reporting
Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive electrification, industrial electronics rework, or a related field
Proven troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
Experience with disassembly, repair, and reassembly of high-voltage battery packs or similar systems
Experience working under quality systems such as ISO 9001, with an understanding of quality standards and the ability to perform inspections to ensure compliance
