Manufacturing Cell Lead, High-Volume Operations

A day in the life
You begin your shift on the production floor, checking material availability and confirming priorities for your area. You huddle with operators, reinforce safety and standard work, and jump in to unblock any bottlenecks. Throughout the day, you track output, coach newer teammates, adjust to shifting demands, and communicate status to leadership—staying hands-on and visible from start to finish.
Role snapshot
- Guide and coordinate a team of production operators to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
- Organize workflow, materials, and line priorities; escalate issues promptly.
- Train and support team members, including new hires, and reinforce standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned to keep production moving.
Schedule at a glance
Our facility runs on 12-hour alternative work schedules (AWS) to support continuous operations. Multiple openings are available across shifts.
Training period (8-hour shifts)
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
- 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM (Monday – Friday)
Post-training (12-hour shifts)
- Day: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Weekday and/or weekend patterns, including potential rotations
Typical schedules run 3–4 days per week (36–48 hours). We are hiring across multiple shifts. Candidates should be open to working days, nights, and/or weekends based on business needs. Final shift assignment will be confirmed at time of offer.
Compensation
- Base rate: $25.00 per hour
- Shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend schedules
- Overtime paid in accordance with applicable laws
Minimum qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting
- Clear English communication skills (for safety and coordination)
- Comfort working in a physically active, fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
- 1–3 years in manufacturing
- Background as a lead, trainer, or informal team coordinator
- Familiarity with ERP or production tracking tools
- Experience in high-volume or shift-based operations
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or English/Nepali) are a plus
